The academic program at Word of Life Christian Academy places an emphasis on every aspect of our student’s growth and development. We take advantage of the natural curiosity children possess by having our teachers present new information in creative ways whereby students learn through exploring and understanding using their own emotions and experiences.
Our general curriculum includes a variety of challenging courses that meet or exceed state requirements. Suitable class sizes and exceptional, qualified teachers allow Word of Life Christian Academy to offer an intimate and inclusive educational environment, while also ensuring each student receives the individualized attention and support they need.

We are so excited to add a school garden to our educational program. “In a comprehensive review of 20 years of literature on school garden programs, 93% of the studies reported improved student performance in science, 80% saw improvement in math, and 72% noted improvement in language arts” (Williams and Scott, 2013). It is our purpose to provide our families “Academic Excellence in a Christian environment.”
With the partnership of our families, Green Our Planet, and our staff, we believe our students will soar academically and be inspired to eat their vegetables. Green Our Planet will provide a weekly lesson with their farmer, two Chief Demos, teacher training, and an opportunity for our students to see at a Farmers Market.
This school garden is possible because of all your support for our school fundraisers this past year. We have enough saved to pay Green Our Planet’s fee of $5,000 for the 2018-2019 school services. We built an outdoor classroom and three raised planter boxes.
